About Balboa Company
Balboa Company is a locally owned and operated company specializing in fireplaces, grills, designer outdoor furniture, flags & flag poles and gifts.
The business was started by the current owner Nick O’Neill’s parents, Paul and Mary O’Neill. The O’Neill’s started Balboa Company in 1968 out of their garage. Mary ran the business during the day, while Paul worked at another place of employment. In the evenings, Paul would install fireplaces using only a droplight. As time passed, the business flourished and they were able to open their first location at 1376 Laurel Street in Beaumont, Texas. In 2012, Balboa built it’s current, more spacious, storefront at 7270 Highway 105. Our customers have been such a joy to serve for the past 48 years.
Balboa Company has kept true to it’s strong family roots in which the company was founded on. In addition to Nick as the owner, his wife Roxanne and their son Dominick also help to run the business alongside him. Roxanne started working for the company in 1991, just 5 years after they married and Dominick eagerly joined in 2015.
